The Union of India | Indian Federal Union

India is the 7th largest and 2nd populous country in the world. It is a South Asian country and is officially known as the Republic of India. It is a federal union of states and union territories. The country is divided into 28 States and 8 centrally administered Union Territories for administration purposes as it gets very difficult to manage a large country from one center. Hence, the Indian Constitution gives the right to the central government to give states the right to function accordingly. Each state of India has an administrative, judicial, and legislative capital for central control and folding authority. Every state is ruled by a head known as Chief Minister.
